Prof. Shang Xin is Elected as Standing Director of CACSEC

During Aug.25-28th, 2014 International Symposium on Comparative Studies of English and Chinese and Translation Studies, organized by China Association for Comparative Studies of English and Chinese (CACSEC) was held in Tsinghua University. This is the 11th National Academic Symposium where Prof. Shang Xin has been elected as standing director, deputy secretary-general, and editorial director of Comparative Studies of English and Chinese.
Since its foundation, this association has always been keeping alive the spirits of Lv Shuxiang, honorary chairman of CACSEC, Liu Zhongde, Yang Zijian and Pan Wenguo. Their dedication to scientific research, observance of code of academic conduct and opposition to plagiarism has been well-known both at home and abroad.
