Students from the Department of Japanese Gained Awards in the 30th Shanghai University Students'' Japanese Speech Contest
On November 11th, 2017, Zhang Chaoming, a student majoring in Japanese participated in the 30th Shanghai University Students'' Japanese Speech Contest, and gained an Award for Encourage. This contest which started in 1987 was held by Shanghai Association for international exchange of Education and Kyoto University of Foreign Languages, Japan, in order to promote the friendship between the two countries. The theme of this year’s contest is that it has been 45 years since the foreign exchange between China and Japan got normalized and further development is pursued. 21 participants selected from universities in Shanghai competed with each other.
