A Lecture Themed as Shipping Documents Delivered by Maria Kristina Javellana
On November 29th, 2017, Captain Maria Kristina Javellana from the Asia Pacific Maritime College delivered a lecture for Shipping Documents in Room 108.
First of all, captain Maria emphasized the importance of shipping documents by introducing different documents. She compared those documents with registration of automobiles in order to help the participants understand.
Then, she divided all participants into three groups and asked each group to fill in a shipping clause file before port of discharge in order to know how the shipper, the carrier, the consignee and the broker work together.
At last, captain Maria pointed out the importance of the Bill of Lading.
