In the afternoon of June 1, the College of Foreign Languages held party history learning activities among the teaching staff members in Room 515 of the Foreign Language Building. Li Pingyou, secretary of the Party Committee of the College, delivered a speech, and Party members attended.
The topic of Li’s lecture focused on Chinese maritime culture, maritime achievements, maritime education, and the construction of a strong shipping nation in the new era. He pointed out that maritime culture is an important part of Chinese traditional culture, and China has a long history of navigation. Our college should do a good job in the high-quality development of the shipping industry and deliver more shipping talent with strong foreign language ability for the construction of shipping power in the new era.
