On April 2, Zhu Yaobin, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, some of the faculty and student Party members visited the Nicheng Revolutionary Museum in the Pudong New Area in memory of martyrs in Tomb-Sweeping Day.
The famous revolution of Nicheng taken place in Lin-gang Nicheng fired the first shot of resistance war against the Japanese aggression in Pudong. The museum shows the heroic deeds of Pudong people who made great contributions during the revolutionary times and development periods of China in the new era.
In the memorial square inside the museum, faculty and students Party members held a memorial activity. They laid a flower basket to the revolutionary martyrs’ monument and paid tribute to the revolutionary martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the liberation of the people and the prosperity of the country.
In the oath of joining the Party, the Party members led by Zhu Yaobin solemnly swore to the Party flag that they would support the Party program, strictly abide by the Party discipline and be loyal to the Party.
In the exhibition hall, the Party members watched different relics of the war and knew more about the story of the revolutionary period in Nicheng. They were all proud of the heroes who fought for Lin-gang.
During the visit, Zhu Yaobin asked Party members to study the history of the Party, to be courageous and active under the inspiration of the revolutionary spirit, and to welcome the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party with outstanding performance.
