In the afternoon of December 2, in order to know more about the study and life of minority students, a seminar for minority students of the College of Foreign Languages was held in Room 515 of the Foreign Language Building. Party Secretary Zhu Yaobin and Deputy Secretary Qian Minfang attended the seminar, and representatives of undergraduate and graduate students from all levels attended.
During the seminar, the minority students exchanged their study and life situation, as well as their personal career development vision, and some of them also introduced the construction situation of their families and hometowns. The teachers at the meeting asked the students in detail about their study and interpersonal situation, understood whether the students had any difficulties in their school life, and instructed them to practice more on the difficulties they encountered in listening and pronunciation of foreign languages, and to ask their teachers and classmates for more suggestions to promote their foreign language learning.
Zhu Yaobin, the secretary of the Party Committee, hoped that the students would build up confidence, be active in their academic and personal development, be good at learning, create opportunities, and to develop themselves in the Lin-gang Special Area.
At the end of the seminar, a quiz was held on the knowledge of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee, promoting their understanding of the Plenary Session and further study the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session.
