In the afternoon of November 6, a party class on Traditional Culture and Political Literacy was held in Room 217 of the Foreign Language Building at the Second Level Party School of the College of Foreign Languages in the fall semester of 2020 and the training course for new Party members. Zhu Yaobin, secretary of the Party Committee of the College, gave the lecture, and Qian Minfang, deputy secretary of the College, presided over the lecture, with freshmen members and Party activists from all grades attending.
Secretary Zhu explained in detail the definition of Chinese traditional culture, and pointed out that traditional Chinese culture can be divided into different categories according to the times, regions and nationalities, and that traditional culture is the bloodline of a nation and the spiritual home of a nation.
Secretary Zhu pointed out that as a university student, we should have political sensitivity, and the prerequisite of political sensitivity is political awareness, and the cultivation of political awareness is inseparable from the understanding of our traditional cultural history. Through the explanation of a series of historical events, Secretary Zhu elaborated on the current world pattern, and in connection with the development of China, Shanghai and the development of Lin-gang Special Area today.
At the end of the Party class, Secretary Zhu taught that as a contemporary university student, it is necessary to learn the excellent traditional culture and improve the political quality.
