On October 23, in order to further improve the Four Histories learning and education work of the teaching staff, the Party Committee of the College of Foreign Languages organized a visit to the former residence of Zhang Wentian for the Party and government leadership, Party committee members, secretaries of teaching staff branches and some teaching staff members.
In the former residence of Zhang Wentian, the Party members first watched the video materials reflecting the revolutionary deeds of Comrade Zhang Wentian. From being a rural child in Shanghai to go to the United States, Japan, and the Soviet Union to study, to embarking on the revolutionary road and working tirelessly for the construction of new China, Comrade Zhang Wentian interpreted the glorious life of a communist with his firm ideal belief and noble Party spirit.
In the house where Comrade Zhang Wentian lived, the Party members carefully examined a table, a chair, a tile, and an eave, remembered the revolutionary life of Comrade Zhang Wentian, also recalled the glorious history of our Party and New China, which was full of hardships, and imagined the beautiful blueprint of national construction and development in the new era.
Through the visit, Party members received a vivid four history knowledge education, but also to receive a profound Party concept, Party cultivation education. The Party members expressed that they should inherit the red spirit, not forget the original intention of joining the Party, and fulfill the mission of establishing morals and educating people in their teaching positions.
