At 19:00 on April 25, the College of Foreign Languages held an online admissions presentation through Tencent Conference. Tang Yi from English Business Class 161, Wei Yutong from English Translation Class 172, Feng Yingshi from Japanese Language Class 171 and Chen Xiangyu from English Aviation Class 181 delivered the lecture, which was hosted by counselor Sun Zhikuan.
Tang Yi from English Business Class 161 shared her rich competition experience and social practice experience. She summarized her personal experience through the introduction of science and technology and competition experience, and shared to everyone how to better balance study, competition and life. After a brief introduction, Wei Yutong from English Translation Class 172 shared her experience of participating in club practice from multiple perspectives by describing her experience as the leader of the school's hosting group. Feng Yingshi from Japanese 171 gave a detailed introduction to the history of the school, introduced our English Corner Japanese Corner Club and shared her experience accumulated during her study of Japanese. Chen Xiangyu from English 181 introduced her two-year campus life experience and her thoughts on college life, and shared her valuable experience in studying English.
The admissions meeting ended successfully at around 20:00. After the presentation, the parents and candidates were interested in our school. Sun Zhikuan summarized the meeting and encouraged the students to apply to our school.
In addition, the Admissions Promotion Working Group of the College of Foreign Languages in Hunan, Hubei and Jiangxi actively communicated closely with the relevant outstanding student bases to push the school's admissions information and answer the questions raised by high school students and parents in a timely manner. Among them, E’nan High School, an excellent student source base in Hubei Province, showed the encouragement and expectation of Shanghai Maritime University for the study in E’nan High School when welcoming the senior students back to school.
