It is another year of orientation season. Under the guidance and deployment of the Graduate School and the leadership of the College, the College of Foreign Languages has successfully completed the enrollment and registration work of the 2019 graduate students in the College with careful arrangement and thoughtful service.
In order to answer all kinds of inquiries from new students and do a good job in postgraduate enrollment, the Student Office of the College sacrificed its rest time in summer vacation to get in touch with new students through various ways, and set up a WeChat group for new postgraduate students, in which it actively answered various questions from students and carried out the pre-registration work of various clubs.
Considering that most of the new graduate students are from other provinces and cities and have various arrival times, the college prepared various check-in materials in advance and set up check-in points in foreign language building and student dormitory area in advance to facilitate early arrival students to check-in and move in in time.
On the day of September 1, the college made careful arrangements at the community check-in point, arranged teachers and volunteers to do the verification and material distribution of new students in an orderly manner, and arranged volunteers to guide the work in front of the drop-off point and dormitory building. Although it rained from time to time, the volunteers still insisted on standing at their posts and did a good job in volunteer service. The new graduate students who arrived early also organized an orientation service team to answer various inquiries from students and help them solve difficulties such as taking luggage and picking up courier, so as to ensure that each student could enter school easily and conveniently.
By the evening of September 1, all 2019 graduate students of the School of Foreign Languages had reported to school, except for some students with special circumstances. The College will continue to do a good job in collecting and accessing various materials, holding a series of entrance education activities, forming various student classes and party organizations, laying a foundation for the education and management of new graduate students, and promoting the academic development and personal growth of new graduate students in the new environment and new stage.
