On the morning of May 10, a seminar on school-enterprise cooperation between the School of Foreign Languages of Shanghai Maritime University and Gordon Education Group was held in Conference Room 515 of the School of Foreign Languages. Mr. Zhang Tengjiao, the head of Gorton Education Group in Shanghai, Mr. Li Jiahao, the head of Shanghai University Cooperation, Mr. Qian Minfang, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Foreign Languages, Mr. Wang Xian, the head of the Department of Business English, and Mr. Huang Yiqing and Mr. Ouyang Shu, the counselors, attended the seminar.
During the meeting, Ms. Qian Minfang introduced the general situation of students' professional and career development in the School of Foreign Languages. Director Wang Xian, Mr. Ouyang and Mr. Huang exchanged their thoughts on students' career planning, industry awareness and internship practice in enterprises around the Foreign Language+ career development education program. Manager Zhang Tengjiao said that he would make use of his own resources and advantages in financial education to build internship practice bases, hold special training camps, and carry out career navigation and ability development activities to help the training and development of foreign language+ talents in the college. A framework agreement on cooperation and construction was signed at the meeting.
This exchange and cooperation is one of the initiatives of the College of Foreign Languages to promote foreign language + career development education in response to the development needs of students, and is also an exploration of the College's efforts to innovate talent training and educational services.
