On the afternoon of May 8, the third and fourth lectures of the 2019 Spring Level II Party Class (the 29th in total) of the College of Foreign Languages were held in Room 217 of the Foreign Language Building. Zhu Yaobin, secretary of the Party Committee, and Ouyang Shu, organizational member of the Party Committee and Party building counselor, gave the lectures respectively, and party activists from all grades attended.
In the lecture, Secretary Zhu Yaobin interpreted the political report of the 19th National Congress with the theme of in-depth study of the report and further strengthening the political construction of the Party, and focused on the discussion of strengthening the political construction of the Party in the political report of the 19th National Congress. Secretary Zhu asked the students to study political theories, strengthen political beliefs, improve political patterns, establish a sense of the overall situation, improve political ability, promote campus harmony, and play a good role as a role model and ideological leader, taking into account the actual study and life of college students.
Mr. Ouyang Shu took the topic of Basic History and Theory of the Party and firstly pointed out the importance of college students to master the historical and theoretical knowledge of the Party in the form of cases. After that, he led the students to retrace the main history of the Party since its establishment by using major events and conferences as clues. After that, Mr. Ouyang Shu explained in detail the theoretical knowledge of the Party, such as the nature, the highest ideal, the guiding ideology, the basic line and the basic program of the Party, taking the Party Charter as the blueprint. During the lecture, Mr. Ouyang Shu especially asked the students to strengthen their political theory study, consolidate the basic knowledge of the Party and join the Party as soon as possible.
After the lecture, a final test was conducted to test the learning effect of the students and to urge them to strengthen their political study, correct their motivation to join the Party and improve themselves ideologically.
