In order to do a better job of comprehensive strict governance of the Party and further strengthen the construction of teachers' morality and style, the 2019 comprehensive strict governance of the Party layout meeting of the College of Foreign Languages was held in the afternoon of April 24 in Room 515 of the Foreign Language Building, attended by Zhu Yaobin, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, and presided over by Qian Minfang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and member of the Discipline Inspection Committee, with the participation of members of the leadership team of the College, members of the Party Committee, department heads and secretaries of teaching staff branches.
In his speech, Zhu Yaobin, secretary of the party committee, firstly emphasized the importance of strengthening the comprehensive strict governance of the party in colleges and universities, introduced the feedback of inspection work of some colleges and universities in Shanghai in the previous period and the current inspection and rectification work of our university, pointed out some common problems in the comprehensive strict governance of the party in colleges and universities, and asked all departments and branches to pay attention to prevention in their work.
Regarding the conference on comprehensive strict governance of the party held by the university some time ago, Secretary Zhu Yaobin briefly conveyed it and asked all departments and branches to organize teachers to study it and ensure that the spirit of the conference reaches every party member and every teacher.
In view of the new regulations and requirements recently introduced by the university to strengthen the overall strict governance of the party, Secretary Zhu conveyed in detail and asked all departments and branches to further carry out the study and propaganda activities of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 19th National Congress, learn with problems and combine with actual work, especially strengthen the study of the General Secretary's discourse on education and Shanghai work, and carry out study and discussion activities among all teaching staff. We will carry out study and discussion activities; implement the school's leave reporting system for leading cadres leaving Shanghai for official or private purposes, strictly implement the school's regulations on the issuance of labor compensation such as evaluation fees for leading cadres, and create a clean and upright environment; raise our political status, establish the four consciousnesses, enhance the four self-confidences, and achieve the four self-confidences. At the end of the meeting, a ceremony was held to sign the responsibility letter for the construction of party style and clean government in the College of Foreign Languages for the 2019-2021 academic year. Zhu Yaobin, secretary of the Party Committee, signed the responsibility letter with the members of the leadership team of the College respectively for the work under their charge.
