In the afternoon of April 4, a symposium for minority students of the College of Foreign Languages was held in Room 515 of the Foreign Language Building. Guo Haixia, vice dean of teaching, and Qian Minfang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, attended the seminar, and representatives of minority students from all grades attended the seminar.
During the seminar, Vice President Guo Haixia and Deputy Secretary Qian Minfang carefully understood the students' study, career development, peer relationship, food and accommodation. The senior students exchanged their experience in graduate school and their nervousness in waiting for the result of the examination; the junior and sophomore students introduced their career planning and their feelings in professional study to the teachers and introduced their experience in professional study to the freshmen students; the representatives of the freshmen students expressed their novelty and happiness in coming to the university and praised the university environment, teaching arrangement and logistic support.
Vice President Guo Haixia and Deputy Secretary Qian Minfang responded to the students' confusion in study, life and employment, and advised them to combine good language learning with good knowledge of history and culture, diligent study with study methods, better integrate into the collective life, make early career planning, and work harder to achieve their growth goals!
